1. Easy access
Spindleruv Mlyn is conveniently located within an hour or two from all of the Czech republics closest neighbours and only 1.5-2 hours by car from the Czech capital Prague. Public bus transport to the resort is available from all over the country and there is also a regular bus operating between Spindleruv Mlyn and Berlin
2. The biggest winter ski resort in the Czech republic
The three ski areas of Sv.Petr, Medvedin and Misecky join to complete a total of 20 downhill slopes with a combined total length of 25km. The 15 ski slopes (4 chairlifts, together with a number of T-bars and Poma's) and the 4 special children slopes can accommodate around 18 000 people/hour. The quad chairlift at Sv. Petr will take you up to 1,185 meters above sea level, while in Medvedin you will ascend to 1,233 meters a.s.l. There is a shuttle bus service operating between both ski areas and is provided free of charge.

All three of the ski areas are have artificial snow making facilities to ensure ideal snow conditions for 5 months a year.

A brand new snow park has opened this season in the Misecky ski area, and is offering jumps and railing for freestyle snowboarders and skiers alike.
8. Cross country skiing trails and tourist trails
There is more than 80 kms of marked cross-country skiing trails throughout the beautiful nature of the Giant Mountains national park. A variety of trails are marked from easy to more difficult ones that scale the mountaintops. There are marked hiking tours in summer time here also.
9. Summer program
The busiest time in Spindleruv Mlyn is definitely winter, but more and more travellers are coming to visit in summer. Paragliding, horseback riding, water sports, mountain hiking and biking, bobsleigh etc. are all enticing attractions for every generation.
